Tone Cluster - JOY: music by queer composers

An evening of bold, beautiful music by queer choral composers as well as pop icons. Expect harmony, heart, and a whole lot of joy.
A concert by Tone Cluster – quite a queer choir, with a special performance by Queer Cadence.
The concert will be approx. 60 mins with no intermission.
The venue is Centretown United, which is a wheelchair accessible space and has gender neutral single stall washrooms. Seating is wooden pews; please bring a cushion if needed.
Street parking is available throughout the neighbourhood and there are nearby bus stops.

Atlantic Voices - The Hills & Glens – May 2026
On May 31 Atlantic Voices will hit all the high notes with its spring concert, The Hills and Glens – a musical journey from the Highlands to the Cabot Trail to the Halifax Citadel and beyond.
Our show’s repertoire showcases the rich trove of folk songs inspired by mountains and hills, and features music by some of Canada’s top choral composers, including Mark Sirett and Stephen Hatfield. The program pays special tribute to the traditional music of Scotland, including a rare pairing of choir and bagpipe!
The concert begins at 3pm on Sunday, May 31 at Centretown United Church, with a pre-show set by the Fumblin’ Fingers that starts at 2:15pm. The usual reception will follow the show.
Tickets are $30 until May 30 and are available from choir members or through EventBrite ( tickets.atlanticvoices.ca). Tickets are $35 on the day of the event, including at the door, and are free for children 12 and under.
