The Christmas Hamper Project is in full-swing again this year, with a goal of reaching families and individuals in the Centretown community of Ottawa.<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div>

For more than 40 years, the\u00a0Christmas Hamper Project<\/b>\u00a0has supplied thousands of Ottawa families and individuals with boxes of food, toiletries and small gifts to help make their Christmas season a little brighter. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Hosted by\u00a0Centretown United Church<\/a>, hampers will be delivered on December 20th to families and individuals who have been referred by a number of Centretown social agencies. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

If you wish to receive a hamper, please contact your local community service agency. \u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>

This worthy project relies on the generosity and the goodwill of the community, and offers a number of ways you can help:<\/span><\/p>

To\u00a0adopt<\/b> a hamper, register by 6 December online at the Adopt a Hamper<\/span><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/span><\/p>

To help with\u00a0labeling, organizing, and carrying hampers<\/b> on December 18th<\/sup> and 20th<\/sup> please contact us at chp.labellingcrew@gmail.com\u00a0<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Or, have a crazy schedule?\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0We gladly accept\u00a0donations<\/b>!\u00a0Please send a cheque made out to\u00a0“Centretown United Church”<\/b>, 507 Bank Street, Ottawa, K2P 1Z5 indicating it is for the “Christmas Hampers Project”. You can also\u00a0donate online<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by hitting the\u00a0“Donate Now” button<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and selecting the “Christmas Hampers Project” in the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/p>
