For more than 40 years, the Christmas Hamper Project has supplied thousands of Ottawa families and individuals with boxes of food, toiletries and small gifts to help make their Christmas season a little brighter.

Hosted by Centretown United Church, hampers will be delivered on December 19th to families and individuals who have been referred by a number of Centretown social agencies.

If you wish to receive a hamper, please contact your local community service agency.

This worthy project relies on the generosity and the goodwill of the community, and offers a number of ways you can help:

To adopt a hamper, register by 7 December online at the Adopt a Hamper page.

To help with labeling, organizing, and carrying hampers on December 17th and 19th please contact Daphne at chp.labellingcrew@gmail.com .

To deliver hampers on December 19th, contact Fiona at chp.deliverycrew@gmail.com

Or, have a crazy schedule?  We gladly accept donations! Please send a cheque made out to "Centretown United Church", 507 Bank Street, Ottawa, K2P 1Z5 indicating it is for the "Christmas Hampers Project". You can also donate online by hitting the "Donate Now" button and selecting the "Christmas Hampers Project" in the drop-down menu.

Thank you for your support!

(If donations are so generous that we receive additional funds, they will be shared with the Centretown Emergency Food Centre and Centre 507 to assist recipients, who struggle to make ends meet throughout the entire year.)
